Role Overview
SWRK is looking for a Business Development Associate to help identify, engage, and qualify potential clients who may benefit from custom software development services.
This role is focused on initiating conversations, understanding client requirements, and facilitating introductions between qualified prospects and the SWRK team.
The ideal candidate is confident communicating with founders, business owners, and decision-makers and is comfortable working in a performance-based environment.
Responsibilities
• Identify potential clients through networking, outreach, referrals, communities, and other channels
• Initiate conversations with prospective clients
• Understand business challenges, goals, and software requirements
• Qualify prospects based on project fit, budget, and decision-making authority
• Schedule meetings between qualified prospects and SWRK
• Maintain accurate records of leads and communication activity
• Build and nurture professional relationships with potential clients
What SWRK Handles
The SWRK team will be responsible for:

Compensation Structure
• Up to 20% commission on project payments received from referred clients
• Commission is paid after client payments are successfully received and cleared
• No earning cap
• Typical project engagements start from ₹1,00,000 and may increase based on scope and complexity
Ideal Candidate
• Experience in business development, lead generation, client acquisition, or sales
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build trust with business owners and decision-makers
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Organized and capable of managing multiple conversations
• Familiarity with software services, startups, or technology businesses is beneficial
